^^^Yeah...I figured, but I can never remember if the Bronco and Fseries wheels were the same or not.

^^ Good point. I think they may have been different wheels up until the debut of the big Bronco in '78.

I know at some point the EB's had the BIG wheel with the chrome horn lever in the center, then switched to the newer car type (like 78-79 trucks) in the later EB's.

its amazing who many things are different just for 76-79 trucks, better yet 73-79, I also drove an 85 Olds Cutlass, u can take anything off an 81-88 cutlass and it will fit it, even 78-80 interior stuff will fit, i do like that. parts are easier to find that way lol

1973/79 F100/350's used FOUR different two spoke steering wheels which are the same as:

1) 1971/77 F100/350 (1975/77 w/o Cruise); 1973/77 Bronco; 1975/77 Econoline (w/o Cruise).

2) 1975/77 F100/350 & Econoline with Cruise.

3) 1978/79 F100/350, Bronco & Econoline with P/S (15 1/2").

4) 1978/79 F100/350 & Econoline without P/S (16").

The vinyl horn pads match either 1, or 2 or 3 & 4.

No horn rings on Bronco's after 1972 / No horn rings or buttons on F100/350's after 1970.

1966/72 Bronco's used the same 3 spoke steering wheels as: 1961/66 F100/250 2WD; 1966 F100 4WD; 1967/72 F100/250 2WD/4WD; 1969/70 F350; 1960/63 Falcon/Comet.

Some of these 4WD's and F350's used 4 spoke steering wheels.

^^Good info, Bill.

Another question out of sheer curiosity: Were there ever any differences in the thickness of the two spoke 78-79 wheels? I have sworn that some I've had my hands on felt thicker than others, but maybe that's all in my head.

I haven't a clue...I don't recall feeling up steering wheels. The only feeling up I was engaged in, had to do with the opposite sex.

Apparently I've been going about "parking" all wrong. I'll leave the dome light on next time.
