Ac - Max Ac 1998 F150

The MAX Ac setting on my 98 F150 is not working.

Normally when I would switch from AC to Max AC the fan speeds would
increase at least 2 fold.

Now when I switch between AC and Max AC the fan speed stays the same.

I've replaced the entire climate control panel and all fan speed settings are
working correctly when in AC mode and the AC is working.

Any suggestions?

I always thought that max was just circulating inside air and ac was bringing in fresh air.
Maybe your fresh air intake is not working and the sound is not changing.

Yep, Max AC is just recirculating. It does sound like theres an increase, but theres not. I agree, possible recirculate actuator.

Where is the recirculate actuator located?
