abs light after dead battery

Well i just tried to crank my truck and the battery was dead. I put the battery charger on and jumped it off. now the abs light is on. I checked for codes and no codes. I checked all of the fuses and no blown fuses.

Advice where to start would be appreciated.

There should be an ABS module. I'm not sure if it will work but try disconnecting the neg battery cable for about 10 min. the reconnect it and see if that resets it. It will also reset your computer though.

I'll try that. I was already going to give it a try.

What I don't know is what killed the batteries. I think that my cb may have a short in it. I unhooked it.

Possibly came on from the low bat voltage.

I will pull the batteries tomorrow and try to reset it.

With the abs light set a code? I checked for codes and none were found.

Usually if the lights on there will be a code, it'll probably just be a system voltage to low code anyways nothing to worry about.

I agree with Dave. It will come on from the low voltage. Pulling your batteries just does it again. It will go away shortly.
