99 F250 V10 Header Install/Custom Exhaust

Yes more work on the V10, prob 1 of the most annoying things I have ever done. OBX SS headers off ebay for like 130 or so. No ERG tube fitting. Had to drill a hole and weld the fitting to the header. Other then trying to tighten most of the bolts, it wasnt too bad. I took me from 5pm-9pm 1 day after work, then from 5pm-10.54pm the next day on the other side. What took forever was removing all the broken studs from the driver side, and getting the header to fit on the passenger side. I also made my own exhaust for it, Pypes 3" high flow mini cat, with the biggest magnaflow muffler I could order, out the side at the moment untill my 3" SS tailpipe comes. I will be making a SS Y pipe for this also. I wanted to do the exhaust once, and have it last forever. All SS is the ticket. Here are some pics.

Yea it would have been nice if I wasnt on the east coast and all my header bollts were rotted out.

When I replaced the factory passenger side manifold, I got lucky and all the bolts came free. That's a nice list of rides !

Nice work. At least it wasn`t as bad as the 5.8 I put in my 93. 14 broke off and 8 got heli-coiled. I`m really glad it was on the stand, not in the truck.

Yea the older engines stink to get exhaust bolts out on, Ive gotten lucky on most of my older rigs. Lots of heat, lots of patience lol

Yup on the patience. If you try to force the bolts free with a lot of force instead of light rapid taps, they're sure to break.

Def. drilled a few in my day lmao. On another note, I got my 4" SS tailpipe and will be putting it on in the next few days.
