'97 T-Bird Brake Power Booster

Working on my neighborers car, we got the booster unbolted and can pull it out part of the way to where the studs are in the engine bay, but we cant rotate or tilt it far enough to clear either the strut tower or the valve cover.

Any tips tricks or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the booster-to-dash panel attaching bolts/nuts. Slide the booster pushrod, bushing and the inner nylon washer off the brake pedal pin.
Inside the engine compartment, move the booster forward until the booster studs clear the dash panel. Rotate the front of the booster inward (toward the engine), then remove the booster by raising it up until it is clear.

and the Haynes manual is even more vague.

hmm ive really got nothing. i honestly have never worked on that vehicle. hopefully someone on here can give you some advice
