'97 Expedition Question/s

We have a '97 Expedition with 5.4. It has 82,000 miles on it, was professionally tuned up about 15,000 miles ago. It starts and runs as new with the exception of a very short stint of a random intermittent miss a couple of minutes after it's started.

Here's the scenario. You get in it and start it, leave the driveway and go up the street approx. 2/3 of a mile and stop at a traffic signal, and that's when you'll feel it at idle. By the time you get another mile or two to the next stop, it's good to go. In other words, it doesn't do it when it's first started, nor does it do it at operating temperature. BTW, there is no cel set, either.

You guys have any suggestions?

And no Vince, I don't need the phone number to Sellers-Sexton showroom! :nono:

As a wild stab, injectors can cause a misfire as well. You might have your local shop do an injector cleaning. Not the "miracle" BG style crap, use the one where they tap in to the fuel line and run injector cleaner through it.
