95 W/351

I'll probably end up taking the truck to a garage but I'll check here first...
Motor is a 351W in a 95 150
When I punch the throttle quickly I get a lag and "stumble" before the revs come up. It does it all over the rpm range, not just idle. It is even more pronounced if I have let off the gas (RPMs are falling) and blip it back up. Sometimes even a small backifing pop is heard. I ran a can of throttle/choke/valve clearner through it by spraying the hell out of both upper and lower intakes. The truck starts and idles fine (stays steady) no matter if it's hot or cold. The egr valve and egr position sensor are new..(no change) . I put the digital meter on the TPS and it shows the correct volts as well as a smooth climb up the scale as it should. MAP sensor swapped- no change..any other ideas ?

The first question I always ask is... Have you pulled the codes?

First check all vacum lines & rubber T junctions for wear & cracks the T,s have a tendency to collapse from vaccum pull when they are worn.i would also look at the IAC valve mounted beside the throttle body, seperate the two units & inspect the rod for movement these can be cleaned with carb cleaner & try to free up the rod,or replace.
