im going to look at a 1993 fordf-150 2wd ext cab with a 5.0 auto what are key things to look for that mite make it a bad deal?

drive it. and drive it hard. if it feels like the tranny is shuttering or loosing a gear or anything. go ahead and pass. cause it likely has a E4OD. and unless you wanna spend alot on a rebuild youll be screwed...

but secondly how many miles are on it? less than 150k it will still have a lot of life in it likely.
