89 F250 ignition problem

Ok first off this truck belonged to my father who passed away last month, so I can't ask him. It was his dream to turn this truck into a sort of hot rod truck. He had completed most of it, just need some cosmetic touches. Any how I drove the truck from Ohio down here to Alabama where I live with little problems. The next day it cranks right up I drive it up the block and back. I then try to figure out why the car stereo isn't working. So I look in fuse box under steering column. The owners manual says its a 15 amp in slot so n so. So I look and of course it's blown. I change it, radio works and hen with out thinking I start looking at the fuse box and owners manual diagram, and say to my self "damn he got wrong fuses in here" so I begin to pull n pluck fuses out and replace with correct ones and even pulled fuses out where some shouldn't have been. In my rash thought I would fix the running lights and instrument panel lights, well as you can guess now the truck won't crank over. Like I said earlier its been completely redone. It has a 351 Windsor in it a special transmission with shift kit all kinds a relay boxes and now is fuel injected 4barrel carb. Am I wrong to think its a fuse problem???? The headlight work battery cables are tight.

Fuel injected carb? I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying it's been converted to Throttle-body fuel injection?

My '89 is sequential fuel injection.

Welcome to FTF.

Thanks guys well it appears to be the wrong solenoid. I jumped/bridged it and it cranked right over. So I'm going to leave fuses alone and replace it. I'll try to get some pictures up later! Thanks again.
