81 bronco Rotten body, 77 f100 Cab swap?

I have a 81 bronco with a rotten body and a rust free F100 standard cab. Wait for it....
I want to put the pickup front clip and cab on the 81 bronco frame. Will this work or should I try to find 80s vintage body?
Any ideas?

80-86 or even 89-91 (or even - heaven forbid - a 92-97...) bodies are easy to find... that will work better for you.

Thanks for the info....New Idea has been put into play.....1946-1949 ford cab and front clip.......Rat rod 4x4, or paint od green and stensil miltary markings on it......
