7t5 rngr

Hello
This is my first posting and I have some questions.I'm working on a 75' ranger xlt super cab. I would like to know if I could replace my rear end with a unit that has disc brakes, what rear with disc brakes will fit with a minimum of fabrication. Can I tighten my stearing ratio. I do not off road I am going for a rod that I can work with and drive every day. Has any one ever rented a king pin press?
Thanks guys

I think the majority of the fab work will come from moving the spring perches...but if you can weld and use a tape measure, you should be able to do this. Depending on the axle, there may have to compensate for pinion angle. Personally, I would probably just swap to rear discs instead of swap entire axles. The kits/write ups are readily available, ranging anywhere from $3-700 depending on your rear axle. If you have a D70 (depends on alot of things from options, 2wd/4wd and what's happened to that thing in the last 35 years) in the rear of that thing, I would definitely just do the swap...the 70 is about as stout of a an axle as you'll find under any Ford.

You can adjust your steering ratio, I dunno how though.
