65 vin question

Im wondering if the vin is stamped anywhere other than the door tag?

Im asking because my truck is and F-250 and the door tag says F-100 the door may have been swapped out at some point im not sure.

I think there is also a VIN number stamped on the passenger side frame rail. It should be located on the top of the rail just ahead of the front crossmember. There might also be one underneath the cab on the framerail. A wire brush and some soapstone or chalk will help make the numbers "pop" so you can see them.
