After a long discussion on another board.. I was hoping someone here could help me with something.. Im trying to find an ACTUAL documented spec that shows what the radiator cooling fans flow at... Everyone seems to say it's 10,000 CFM but no where can i find this "fact" confirmed.. as in like a written document from the mfg's. Lots of people on boards saying it but cant find it anywhere to confirm.

What im trying to find more specifically is like a chart showing cfm to rpm's and things like that.

I would say 10000 seems a little high...I have a fan in my garage that is 5500 and has 24'' blades.

thats been my problem too... wanted to swap to electric fans in my SD when the fan clutch quits.. from what ive heard they weigh anywhere between 37-57 lbs.. ones that have done it seen quicker take offs.. and close to 40 hp gains on dynos.. i was more looking at it for the increased fuel mpg.. already gotten it up to 22mpg.. which was only getting 14 outta it on the highway when i first got it.. (seen people say 16-18 is norm for empty hwy driving) being my trip toy id really like to get best i can from it..

yeah seemed that way to me too.. i found a dual 15" electric fan setup that claims to move 6800CFM.. only thing i wish they would have clarified was if they meant each or total with both..

suspecting that too... hoping the mfg or one of their retailers can confirm one way or the other. have a couple emails out to them and their retailers.. theres some sites that have it listed as total. but others that claim its fan output individually.

will do... theres been a couple threads ive seen where people had done the conversion and pulled heavy loads seeing a slight increase in engine temps.. but think even with the factory clutch youll see that too. they just didnt pay as close attention to it...
