Did some camping, sightseeing in Wyoming this week and ran across this model in a small "junk" store in Shell, Wyoming. All the parts are there, so I think I might build it. Haven't done one of these since I was 16 years old, when those were the only cars I could afford. The directions are dated 2000, so it isn't that old. There are options for stock, custom(dual quad carbs), or a service truck with oxy-acetylene bottles in the back. Right now, I'm leaning toward the service truck, with dual quads.(Best of both worlds).

Very cool Doug....are you starting a thread for it? I'd be interested to follow as I'm building my own model of my dent as you may know.

Thank You, Ken. I'm still waffling about whether or not to build it. 1953 was a very special year, not that I'm dating myself.
