4.0l sohc poor idle problem

My 01 Explorer idles poorly or stalls once it has warmed up. It will only restart if I hold the accelerator to the floor. When the engine is cold it starts fine. It runs fine above 1000 RPM. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think I'd start with the Idle Air Control motor. That regulates air flow to set the idle speed. Gummed up or sticking throttle body would be another choice.
