Still Da Man
was a sad day for me.

My truck came within $115.00 of being written off.

The truck was in fantastic shape at the time a guy in a blazer slid right though a stop sign,a crosswalk, through the interection so perfectly that he ended up right in front of me and caused my whole front end to face right after I hit him broadside.
He continued on over the sidewalk ,though a hedge and came to rest up against a huge tree in the yard.

This happened Dec 12 th 1985 and I didn't get my truck back until late Feb 1986 after them fixing everything with NOS parts.
2.5 months without my truck (a vehicle to drive) really sucked.

The guy with the blazer had a new vehicle in 4 days,

There's a pit in your stomach that never quite goes away when your baby gets hurt. I can empathize with you Dennis.

Weird how that kind of tragedy makes you even more attached to your truck--but glad it all ended up well for you! Can't keep a good truck down...
