2003 Ranger xlt

I'm thinking of buying used 2003 Ranger xlt with 95K miles on it. It is in excellent condition but the airbag light stays on when you start it. Any ideas why this happens? What needs to be repaired and how much does it cost? Trying to see how much I should offer based on this problem.

it's gonna be a sensor somewhere.. somebody should be able to scan the system to find out whats up..

Probably the ground for the bumper sensor.
