whats expected average horsepower and torque for a stock 1994 efi 5.0 and a 1984 351w

1994 5.0 (302 ci) 185 hp @ 3800 rpm 270 ft/lb @ 2400 rpm MPFI

Not a problem...for chits and giggles, the 302 is 440#'s and the 351 is 510#'s.

Was the '94 a HO or standard 5.0? What's the difference between a standard and HO?

5.0HO was rated 215-225hp and 300ft/lbs TQ.

itd b nice if it was a h.o. but its not its just a 5.0....if i had the cash id find me a 5.8 w a maf computer or heck mayb a 7.3 'stroke n pop in it but im not too worried abt it id rather play w the 84's 351w....i need to dyno it now that i just finished a cam swap and intake swap...( ill post buildup pics / vids soon)......i wonder what power im puttin out of tht 351w w the edelbrock performer heads, torker II intake and a 353-351-8 comp cam...ill hafta talk my uncle into lettin me bring my 84 in to use his dyno...or if anyone would know the ballpark power im pushin now itd b great

That's an odd cam choice for a carbed motor but if it doesn't produce 300hp and 350ft/lbs TQ at the wheels I'd be surprised.

im guessinitll b 280 to 300........and i didnt buy the carb it was a early xmas gift from my dad tht lives down in houston but it runs smooth and hauls balls....he's a obama motors..i mean general motors guy n e way when it comes to a ford he dont kno his @$$ from a hole in the ground

Yeah.. about 70HP!
The engine itself has a bigger cam and a 4bbl intake and carb, but otherwise it's exactly the same as any other 351w from the same year.
