So I head out today to get some errands done after replacing the stop light switch. made it to the bank and realized my headlights were on and I chalked it up to being just right in the light so the auto lamps were on, get back in the car and that's a no go.

Finish my errands and swing by the salvage yard and pick up a headlight switch (which according to the owner's manual has the relay built in), auto lamp switch, and the auto lamp sensor. Swapped them all into the car in the salvage yard parking lot and nothing (car I pulled them from was about four feet shorter on the passenger's side and in pristine condition other than that).

I'm at a loss right now, have the fuse pulled so as to not run the battery down but I have to get this fixed as it's going to bug the chitt outta me...

It's not the switch itself as I can still turn the lights on and off with it.

Upon further investigation it seems to be the FTP function, dunno if that relates to the multifunction switch for the FTP or something further...
