1990 bronco

I have 1990 bronco 351 64,000 original miles, it sat in old mans garage for years, the only visible damage was a cracked exhaust manifold. After a couple of months the transmission went out. So I replaced it. " alot of money and time!" I also replaced the exhaust with headers, when i got it running again I could hear a loud tick comming from the valve train. The tick turned out to be 4 bad lifters~! I replaced all the lifters. "again alot of work!" The pumped up, ran great fo 3-4 days then the NOISE CAME BACK! So this time I replaced the cam, chain, lifters, new injectors! The truck ran great for 3-4 days, now the lfters NOISE IS BACK, and is getting wors by the mile. It is the exact same sound as the first time! Again ALOT of work and money! My lifters went to ****! Can someone help me??? What is wrong????

Ya a mechanical gauge is a great idea! Im going to put a new oil pump in tomarro, I just hope I havent lost everything! Ive only put 50- miles on her!

Yea I was thinkin about that. Tho some exhaust leaks ive had, were super quiet at start up, then when hot, were loud as hell. I mean if you keep changing stuff and its not fixing it, you have other probs else ware. Bad oil circ, bad bottom end, sitting isnt the best for motors, old gets nasty and clogs the screen, or the oil leaks outta everything and then on a super dry start up you put metal into everything. Have you ever cut the oil filter open to see whats inside?
