1989 F250 diesel

I'm about to buy a 1989 f250 diesel 5 speed amd was wanting to know a little more about it and if there is any major problems that I would habe to worry about. It only has 115k miles on it amd is 4x4. If anyone can gibe me some advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

I had same truck few years ago. Didn't have problems just usual wear n tear stuff. I'd strongly suggest installing a bypass switch on glow plug controller, so you can cycle plugs manually and won't have to worry bout burning up controller and plugs. Plus it really helps when it is cold out. Also my stock fuel filter water separator bowl leaked, witch made it hard to start sometimes,and I replaced with WIX filter that had built in drain. Just a few mods to help that beast start every time.
