Just bought the truck and filled the bank tank, only to have it dump on the ground. Turns out lines from tank were sitting open on the frame. Front tank connected directly to fuel pump and on to engine. There is no fuel tank switch valve. My 1984 f350 had a harness connection to the valve but cannot find one for this truck. Does the '88 tank switch valve have an electronic connector or is it operated by pressure? Want to get both tanks operational but have no idea what else is wrong with the rear tank since they elected to remove the tank switch valve assembly. Need to order a new one then find out what else may not work.
