Oops i think i was confusing the VIN gear ratio check with the axle tag check my bad.

my buddy got the truck FREE from his girlfriends dad and we have been thrashing our arses off trying to get it running. Do you have ANY idea how hard that last bolt on the starter is in 80's F series is to get out? espescially with a rounded bolt lol

starter issue solved now it has spark (or glow technically but you know what i meen) now just need fuel.. traced the lines back no blockage so its either a bad pump or clogged fuel line just in front of the pump. im betting bad pump cause i didnt hear it priming but it was too windy to hear anything anyways.

Gunna finish that truck tommarow then finish my bumper build hopefully. just learned no school tomarrow cause someone set off the sprinklers at my HS and flooded the place haha

its diesel right?

Theyll have maybe an electric lift pump, but after that its all mechanical.

you only need glow if its cold. otherwise should start from compression.

good luck
