1977 F-700 370 motor specs

Hi y'all! I'm in eastern Iowa and new to the site but have several Ford trucks from a '29 AA to 5 late 80's diesels and a '95 Ranger. I'm playing with a 1977 F-700 dump that I recently got and need to find some motor specs and a pair of exhaust manifolds for the 370. I mostly drive an '83 4X4 with a 300/6 4 speed in it and it's great. I also have some parts and odds and ends - prefer to trade. Looking forward to being active on this site as I've been working on old iron for nearly 50 years. btw - I also have several old Hudson pickups and drive my 1950 Hudson on special occasions - like going to the parts store!

The best I can do is specs for a 1978 330, 361, or 391. No specs for a 370.
Welcome to the site! Might also try the medium duty forum for this site?

1950 Hudson !! I love Hudson's.
All ways wanted a 51 Hornet :)

Thanks for the replies guys! Those specs would be greatly appreciated Mil1ion. And Tex, I have 2 1951 Hudsons - 1 is a 2 dr sedan and the other is a 4 dr Commodore 6 that I just recently found in a barn where it had been since 1972. There was also a 1949 4 dr in there with 40K original miles on it. I got that one too. I'll post some pics when I figure out how to do it. ... billiardrules

I do need some help in posting the pics. I tried to upload some and I got a URL// location request. DUH?? ..... I'm lost. ...... I do have 1 short bed Hudson pick up that's a 1941 and the other 5 are all the standard wheel base the same as the Big Boy's. 1 '42, 3 '46's and a '47. I'm also hunting for a cab for my '35 IHC dump truck. '34-'36 are all the same. ... billiardrules

can you post what you want to know about the engine?

it would make it easier for me

Well for right now I need to know the interchangeability of the heads. I need a set of exhaust manifolds and from what I've been able to find out it seems as if the 429 and 460 blocks may be the same. If they are the same, are the heads/manifolds the same also? Thanks .....

IIRC, they don't share anything with the Light truck 429 or 460

The 370 is like an 429 industrial engine
