04 Ranger

We are in the process of removing the 5 speed tranny from an 04 Ranger and are having a problem getting thr threaded bolt out of the shifting lever to remove the lever. Anyone one know if this takes a special tool or do you just tap it out from one side or the other?
Probably will have more questions as we proceed in changing the clutch and throwout bearing.

Take the nut off of the one side and thread it onto the other side of the bolt. When you tighten it, it will "pull" the bolt out.
