04 6.0 PSD Rough Idle

Like it says......idles rough for 10-15 minutes after startup. TSB for reprogramming performed earlier today by dealer and now truck runs worse than before...any thoughts? Let me know if you need anymore info.

So much depends on your dealer keeping up with the available resources. IDS being at the most recent version (many dealers say it updates automatically, IT DOESNT!). Many reflashes require a little more work than just pressing a few buttons. Try getting it up to operating temp, disconnect batteries (both of them) for a minute or two, hook up batteries, then start and let idle for at least 5 minutes. Shut it down, then try it. From there, if no difference, getting DTCs for a starting point. Make sure your batteries are strong (weak batteries will kill a FICM).

Ficm is probably on it's way out. Check to see if there are any codes p0611 or injector ckt codes are signs of a failing ficm.
