2008 3L 2wd Ranger 111,000 mi.
I've ordered the cam shaft sensor from Ford.
Before the monsoons hit the northwest, I'm thinking I'll replace a few more also. Here's the list so far
ICV, MAP, engine coolant temp (2 ea), Oil pressure. Any thing else?
Thanks Pat
Did it again, mine is the 3L two hole, but looks nothing like that. Thats what I was wondering if it's right before I get it.
Thanks
for some reason I can't get it through my head this truck is 3L.
I got the check engine light, parts house found 0340 code cam sensor.
My question is the part recommended doesn't look like the original, which is 2 eared but narrow. Replacement is round disk w/2 holes. Is this going to work? I've looked up others, there are a variety of one and 2 hole...
I found a way to identify the service kit
on the box is listed a fram filter number
FT1115A
Fram site is FT1115B, but that is the 2WD
filter. Must be mislabeled on the box.4WD kit has fram # 1087 A on the box.
When I went to get a service kit, the guy asked if it had a sump tube. We couldn't find any way to determine. I ended up with two kits and will return one. I'll know when I get the pan off, but how to tell before hand?
Thanks Pat
Starts right up, idles fine, runs good.
I don't know where the cam sensor is located.
It's like the light came on to see if I was paying attention.
Pat
Last week I got a check engine warning, on my 08
2wldr,3.0 six w/67,000 mi.
Oil and coolant were fine, changed air filter, still on.
Had the parts house use their code thing.
It came up PO340
cam shaft sensor
A circuit or
bank one something sensor.
Later that day and today there is no check...
I bought a front seat at a junk yard today.
I think it was a 93 Econoline.
This seat has some kind of powered motor.
What is it for?
Thanks for any help.
