I like this one a lot:

If I were to knock anything...I would say the engine could have prettied up more and he didn't have anything custom or anything that wow'd me with the interior. But dang, they spent a ton on the drive train, lift kit, and body. I love what they did on the underside of the hood....would like to do something like that to my rig.

I was really digging that truck until I saw the rear end...and I think that color is starting to get played out a bit...seeing it more and more since Stacey David's Copperhead.

Didn't really notice much of the back other than the shaved handles on the tailgate, but after looking again, there are no taillights. How is that? Is it under the paint or something, or are there literally no taillights?

My guess is that that rig probably isn't a DD.

Yeah, maybe just to shows?

I mean it has 76k miles on it....so maybe that's original to the truck before it was rebuilt?

I drive my rig as much as I can in the summer months and still only put 1000 miles or so on it a year at the most.

Gee Ken,.. I must drive Burt a LOT! When I got him over 10 years ago he had 72k on him. Now he has 99,6ooK. Almost 2,800 per year. I'm trying SO hard to not let him reach that magical 100k mark... :)

^^^^one of the reasons I don't drive mine a bunch is that I don't have a commute in to work! It's great that I don't have a fuel bill hardly, but don't get to drive my rig as much! :)

Red hasn't left the driveway since I picked up that load of firewood with her back in November (due to P/A sytem needing replacing). The Bronco has only been out on a handful of couple mile trips (mainly due to ball joints being so bad) since I got the Mustang...and Thunder has sat parked for damn near 2 years due to a bad rod bearing. I just can't seem to find the time to work on them though.

Mine stay's in the garage under a cover. In the last two years I've probably put 50-75 miles on it.

TRAILER QUEENS! :slap:

As much as I take my rig out all summer this year (most all of my in town driving is done within a couple of miles from where I live), I think I'm only up to about 500 miles this year. I did put about 300 of those miles on it on that one trips a few months ago when my wife and I took some time off at a B&B on the coast!

Last year I went to 5 car shows around the state....2 of them were 2 hour drives away and I still only put 1100 miles away!

Ok Ken, I win! though Burt gets more miles put in him than your truck, he is used mainly for hauling and pulling! :) He pulls trailers, and hauls campers. No dirty work, but also no "trailer queen" (I hate that name! ) but no grunt worker either.....

Bottom line is we have these trucks to play with, drive and enjoy, so I suppose it doesn't really matter how many miles we drive or what we use them for; Only the enjoyment we get out of em'! :)

Just a few thoughts...

Oh Ken...I definitely do drive my rigs...just when they're operational. Red usually gets somewhere between 3-5k a year put on her. The Mustang is taking the brunt of the transportation load right now...but that's because she's the only one road worthy. Red and the Bronco should be done sometime before Thanksgiving...I hope...and yearly forecasted travel distribution should be about 24k on the stang, 10k on the Bronco and about 5k on Red.

If I lived in a southern state, like Texas, Arizona, So Cal, etc. I'd probably put 3-6k a year on my rig depending on what my commute would be if any.
