I would like to make something perfectly clear

Under No circumstances are my photos, diagrams,Illustrations to be used for people on the other site.

I have spent close to $2500.00 on my resources.

They refused to acknowledge and respect me for who I am and what I bring to the site so whatever you do, please do NOT share my stuff on F._T_ E .

I will not be a happy camper if someone does.

I suggest you post here on FTF and forget about the other place as someday FTF will be even better in all ways.

Happy to do it Dennis. I would never post your info there or anywhere else for that matter. I realize this site is just really getting started and I truly hope it takes off. I do post "over there" still as it is still more active than here and I have this craving sometimes to just talk truck!

Dennis, let me make myself perfectly clear..........We are happy, and excited for you to be here, sharing your wealth of knowledge with all of us. We would like for you to feel comfortable here and just put unpleasant memories behind you.

Thanks, Me Too.

I have heard rumblings of uncouth behaviour going on.

Some people don't realize I am well connected and have spies everywhere :)

I have been disrespected too much already.

I hear ya loud and clear Dennis. Trust me when I say, my response in a different thread about using material was strictly an act to get that info over here, and not the other way around. Anyways, keep up the good work, and I've had a full day of classes today, so I didn't have an opportunity to finish up that list, I'll get on it tomorrow.

I think it's only proper for folks to respect the property of anyone on any site.

Taking from "there" to post "here" is no different than taking from "here" to post "there" - both are wrong.

It works both ways.

I pretty much have since learning of them reading PM's.

I enjoy having someone like you who is willing to share whatever information you have with us. If someone abuses this privilege, I will be the 2nd unhappy camper!

NO NO NO...I wasn't just going to take the info. There are a few guys I've talked to that have some really good write-ups in the offroad section and carb section. They're not coming over here. SO I asked if it was ok to to use their work and give them credit and whatnot, so I have permission. I was referring to the 'Welcome Welcome Welcome' thread where I made all this clear and asked if I should post a link to it here, or just copy and paste the write-up. I just didn't know if this is what sparked Dennis' thought process.

Dennis, I hope I never hear about anyone posting anyones stuff over there. We are our own site, and have built it as such. I hope that we can all forget about what is in the past and move forward. I also hope the members of this site can respect that as well.

Steve, Imo, there is Nothing wrong with retrieving ONE'S OWN material from the other site and posting it here.

The problem is posting someone else's property between sites without permission.

I think that is what you meant ?

Absolutely not - your material is just that - yours!

Many members make very helpful contributions on our site and we as administrators and moderators are very grateful that someone is willing to be a part of a community we set up. We realize that many people moved from one site to another, but FTF has existed for 2 years now. We are free from the 'reigns' of any other websites and frankly discourage conversation about them. It does nothing but breed discontent and rehash issues that are ireparable and in the past.

I mean no disrespect Dennis, and I hope you take me as sincere. There is only so much a community can take with discussion about another website. Your material is just that - yours. I fully agree.

No Ben it wasn't

What was it ?

I got an e-mail from a person that noticed my Illustrations/Images are available again her on FTF and now people could copy them and use them over there.
I don't have the money for more security measures so Most are by invitations to view

I need a watermark or a cannot copy function on my images.

Yeah, I was thinking about a watermark earlier when I was at work.

I have a suggestion for a watermark, preferably to cover your picture from one side to another, but still be transparent so the image can be seen. It would read like this:

Property of Mil1ion
www.fordtruckfanatics.com

Imagine those words overlaying any image of yours posted elsewhere on the internet smilieeatndrink
