Front bumper guards

There are different styles depending on which bumper you have.

It changed in 1978 (IIRC) so be careful.//show me a pic of the bumper

Chrome plated stuff can be crap and rust within 2 years no matter where you buy it.

I would look for some Original ones like I have.

1978: There are FOUR possible front bumpers. TWO different types of front bumper guards.

1) C4TZ-17757-D .. Chrome Front Bumper-Use without horizontal bumper pads

Applications: 1964/77 F100/350 & 1978 F100/350 & Bronco before serial number AG0,001.

2) D3TZ-17757-A .. Chrome Front Bumper-Use with horizontal bumper pads.

Applications: 1973/77 F100/350 XLT, 1978 F100/350 & Bronco XLT & Lariat before serial number AG0,001.

3) D8TZ-17757-A .. Chrome Front Bumper-Use without horizontal bumper pads.

Applications: 1978 F100/350 & Bronco from serial number AG0,001 / 1979 F100/350 & Bronco.

D8TZ-17757-B .. Chrome Front Bumper-Use with horizontal bumper pads.

Applications: 1978 F100/350 & Bronco XLT & Lariat from serial number AG0,001 / 1979 F100/350 & Bronco XLT & Lariat.

C9TZ-17984-A .. Right/Left Front Bumper Guard.

Use with C4TZ-17757-D & D3TZ-17757-A front bumpers.

D8TZ-17984-A .. Right/Left Front Bumper Guard.

Use with D8TZ-17757-A & D8TZ-17757-B front bumpers.

The serial number is the last 6 digits of the VIN.

Chrome plating ~ Genuine Ford vs Made in China crap: The Chinese repro parts have chrome plated onto bare steel, while Ford plated copper, then nickel than chrome onto bare steel.

Mil1ion, what are you asking for your set, and do these just connect with the existing bumper bolts? Do they include the rubber pads?

Does anyone know where I could an after market brush guard for my 79 f-250. It is a Lariat but I don't know the part number. Looking for one identical to the one on my truck in the picture

i got one for sale, its like those in the link above, but i believe its a factory guard..mines black
