Changed the oil and ordered new pads for the door handles. One broke off. It's taken about 7 months to put 3000 miles on the '78.

I made mine work. I hauled a bunch of composting containers for a neighbor lady that's putting on a composting and gardening seminar before work this morning. Then, I hauled a ton of top soil for a coworker over lunch.

Um…if you work for the DOT, I only hauled ¾ of a ton….honest.:)

Nothing works like an old Dent Side Ford!

Just more picture whoring.....can't get enough of my rig....really glad to have it out of storage! We've been using it a lot the past few weeks! Mostly because my 2 year old son is becoming obsessed with it and we want him to enjoy it as much as possible until the baby comes, cause then, the truck won't be able to carry the whole family when we go places.......so probably won't get used much! :waa: :waa: :waa:

What is the lighted toggle switch for above the E-brake? As always, Ken............

I KNEW SOMEONE WAS GOING TO ASK!!!! HAHAHA....it's the on/off switch to my aftermarket alarm. When the door shuts, the alarm automatically kicks on. So if I'm running errands around town, I turn it off cause it can be annoying opening the door and forgetting to push the alarm button and having everyone within a mile radius look at me and wonder if I'm stilling this monster truck! :suspicious:

I'll be working STILL so just come in....the lights will be on! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Oooo... I really like the metal sun-visor, TaxReliever! :)
Have any idea where I can get one for my dent? :)

Had little metal ones over the door windows for decades.
Would like a big metal one to match 'em. xD

Got pretty dark film -inside- the rear window.

It's inside, right? ;)

What happens is the sun heats it up and that heats up the glass.
It feels as if you ain't got any film here where it's dry. What I'm
thinking is using the white plastic film (that's finely perforated)
...on the -outside- of the glass.

What do you think? :)

And on the rear windows of the Bronco too.

But.

What about the other day?

And.

What my wife did to the Dent? xD

Cutting off radius arm bracket rivets and replacing them with
9/16" fine thread grade 8 bolts, one at a time, because the
T18 happens to be out of the way right now. :)

Why such big bolts? ...so the brackets'll index-back into their
original spots, less slop is all.

Ever loosen the axle on one side and slide it forward or rearward
against the leaf springs' center pins and notice how that changes
the steering wheel angle while driving straight?

Huh? ;)
