just how ugly is ugly?

EGR cooler replaced 3 times (no oil cooler), several injectors, egr valves, hpop and fitting, countless reflashes, several low power complaints (no problem found--same dealership)

how do you tell if the EGR cooler is geting cloged up?
I have a 91 7.3 no turbo its a slug compared to the 06 6.0.
I'm looking to buy a 06 250 w/6.0 any tips before buying would be great!

If there or engine modifications or if it has been chipped walk away. Also, post the VIN on here so Vince or one of the other techs can run an OASIS on it. Also, I wouldn't buy one with a K&N filter. When you get it you might want look into installing a coolant filter.

It's at a used car lot they sead "it was not chipped" and I asked if there were any power adders on it he stated no then showed me one that did have some.

Comparing a non turbo 7.3 to a turbo'd 6.0 isn't exactly a fair comparison... So you are asking about the EGR cooler for the 6.0 I hope?
