ive been thinking about it we will see..

no not lighting.. my own custom F150 Cobra

i wanted to do the whole front clip same color but i got chrome bumper and i prefer those

here it is infront of the shop door.. where im gonna take the AFTER shot aswell

the bed had 2 huge holes here where the wheel wells where i dont know why they where there.
but we closed them today

need to grind down the welds yet make it look pwetty

tomorrow remove bed work on it further

we are taking our time because we don't body fill over everything we try to perfect the metal the most we can then apply body fill to smoothen it out

driver side is done!!

passenger side need some work on the door and front fender yet

going slow becuase im working on it alone next week when then guy finish his jobs we gonna go full steam on it.. he fixes cars that crashed for Hertz car rental her in aruba

Quick question...why not go with new fenders/skins? Not that what your doing doesn't look good, but it looks like you're finishing the sides in filler to smooth them out.

i barely see any filler... and plus.... filler is cheaper than metal..... lol

I was talking more or less the bed. And body filler causes the paint to warble. You can reskin a bed for under $300. And if you're doing that, why not spend another couple hundred on new fenders.



Edit...although shipping to Aruba probably wouldn't be pretty.

i dont think he's gotten to the bed yet... looks like theyve only sanded it real quick...

this was the best bed i could find on the island.. NON RUST! but with allot of dings becuase it was used for construction work.. and the fenders are not in bad shape.. the driver side had only small 3 dings like you see in the pic filled.. the passenger side had 1 big one wich we got out and now are filling and sanding to make it even its not finished thats why the patch of filler looks so big

the bed is done all dings and stuff out and filled and is nice and even its my phone camara so thats why the details arent so high

the fenders maybe cheap but getting them here.. dang i dont wanna even know.. shipping would kill me!
