what would WE be out the door for on one of those Ernie? Either the HHR or Cobalt?

Roughly $24K for a fully-loaded HHR, $23K for a Cobalt. Expensive compared to the base models, but inexpensive relative to the performance capabilities.

Hmmm so if I told you I wanted one dropped off at my house I'm lookin at about $24K....Not bad...I have actually been toying with the idea of adding a car to my family of vehicles...At least with me the bad thing about Chevy is I have really grown to like the Dodge Charge and it's looks

I bought a cobalt 2007 by myself (NO COSIGNERS :D) for 14,500 last year. It was normally 18 or 19 something but the guy I bought it from knows my family well. When I had the fire engine red HHR company loaner car, I noticed it drove very similar to my cobalt. If I close your eyes so you don't have to look at it, I might have considered getting one.

A HHR is really nothing more than a Cobalt Wagon, so they would drive similiar. I don't mind the bodystyle- and they sell like crazy. That extra batch of 55 I got in the early summer? Gone like a freight train....

I'll have to ask overn there, but one thing I know for damned sure. Any Mopar should get bought used, not new. Depreciation rates are beyond frightening.

****IF I WERE TO DO THIS****

I couldn't agree more Ernie. This is going to be a second car for me. A car to supplement my truck. it will spend a lot of time in the garage. Something to take on trips and to travel with friends. Cool looks good mileage is what I would be lookin for hence the 6banger but I wouldn't pass up a really great deal on an 8 or new one...

This would be tempting:

Actually, on a totally different note, a Jeep kinda fits in there too.
