yeah don't want too many marks in the primer.....not when you're doing a brand new paint job.

Whats weird,is you couldnt see none of those lil dings from the original
paint,after sanding,I found a few of them....

I welded some holes...Mmmm....me make small hole into BIG HOLE...

But figured it out...

I cleaned up my shoty work,as Im not a welder,its my first time,My eyes
are burnin like a MOFO..but at least Im handy with the grinder...But
hey,got start somewhere...

Lol...Whats dificult,is learning how to see what your doing,its hard
to see a tiny hole.
I also found a bondo job,it became a bon-fire....

There is 2 holes on the corner of the cab,which I can see the inside of the
cab through them.The fuel tank is there,so I will have to use some wet
towels to cover the end of the tank...

yeah that'd be a pain....I do prefer my under-truck tank.

Im not going to attemp to weld today,my eyes are burnt pretty bad.
I will wait till next w-end to do some more.I will continue sanding..

The bed,Im going to just take it off,its got to come off to do the back
of the cab,so I might as well presure wash,prep & paint the chassy.

I have a dent in the bump,I think with the bed off,an upside down,I can
pound it out,It isnt creased,so I think it will pound out smooth...It was
actualy hidden by the chrome strip...

Finishing up a fender,getting first coat of primer,the second will be done
by sprayer after I do the first an fine sanding...

Did some more work,been working on all week after work.Im tired of this
side,I want to move on the other side were its easier,,,,

I think this one good,just need a final sand before the second coat
of primer,I used black sandable primer,that would give me an idea on
what it will look like black...

I have a hard time with pics at that time of the day,because of the glare
from the sun,so you cant tell really how smooth it is.Its smooth as in no
major stuff,but there is some fine scuff an scratches there,which I havent
did a final sanding yet.I will hit it with a 320 grit before the second coat
of primer.
I will get a pic of it now before the sun moves in on it...

I want leave that side like it is for now,an move to the other side an
start spot welding the holes,but I broke the lens on the welding mask.. Have to go to homy-po an get a new one.

The hood an other just needs light sanding,an anther coat of primer,so
Im not worried about it yet,Im just focused on grtting the major stuff
done to get it narrowed down to just were it needs to be for the final
3rd coat primer....Which is going on by a sprayer....
