ohh.. could be dunno.. my trucks a pita figuring parts out...

That was snapped off flush with the top of the box...

also going to have to drop the oil pan... the tool wouldnt find the magnet to come out.. oreillys had some felpro permadry ones for the pans and valve covers... have had good luck with them in the past so gonna use them to seal both of those... now i gotta wait for tuesday for the truck to arrive...

ordered most the parts to re-assemble the engine... still got 2 to go.. but waiting for the first bunch to post..

got the heads back from the neighbor... said it took .009 just to bring the heads flat.. had him take it to .011 anyways...

didnt take any.. but will this weekend.. all i did was unload them from dads truck and threw them in the back of my truck. still need to clean the other parts i took off and the get that tool out of the pan.. lol

btw vince can you tell me what those 4 - 1" wide round gaskets are for that are there in the center? didnt remember seeing ones like it when i took the covers off. I got the set for both sides but only has 4 so doesnt seem to be for the injectors. they look similar to the ones between the intake plenum.

I think they might be for the ccv box (between the box and valve cover).

Hmmm will have to look now.. Was. Going to try pulling that apart and see if the o-ring was in there for the ccv tube.. Been missing since I got the truck.. I made a clip to hold it down in there.. Now that gives me even more of a reason to pull it apart..
