I have a question for you all: I am wanting to take a 4WD TK4 from a 85 BII and use a 2WD TK5 from a 87 Ranger. The goal is to make a 4wd, V-6 TK5. I am wanting to use the 2wd trans, with the 4WD bell housing and tailhousing. Is this possible?

Hey everyone! I made it over here from rangerresource.net As some of you know I have a 87 Ranger long bed with a 5 spd and a 2.3L. It is soon to have a 4.0L though. I also have a 85 F-150 2wd LWB with a good 302 and a toast AOD.Hope I can help some around here!
