Well, with 1500 miles on the clock, I kinda lost oil pressure in the 460 I built this summer. It's reading half of normal. A real bug bummer. I haven't touched it in 2 months.smiliecrybaby
I wish I could get away with carrying a gun in my back window around here. But I am afraid it wouldn't fly around these parts......'peace' ....dope smokin hippies....
I really need to order this soon. I hope I don't have to go with carpet. Maybe I should line it....i'm thinking about this stuff. It's not molded, but its rubber and not vinyl.http://www.stockinteriors.com/UnivRubbermat.asp?Itemid=5732&MakeId=34&ModelId=211
there is a plate that kinda twists on. the knob is keyed so that when the plate and tie downs are tight and in the correct position it doesn't come off.hope this helps illustrate it. as you can kinda see the top and bottom of the knob are flat. you put the plate on, rotate it 90 degrees up...
Thanks for all the comments guys, Feels good to have her back....That was always a add it later deal. after the accident I was originally looking to get a toolbox bed to replace mine. after finding that a bed in the shape of mine can go for $1000 or more I decided it would be better to repair...
It's back!!!!!!!!!!!!!got the truck back! it looks fantastic. here are some pictures. I also am debating whether to paint the letters on the tail gate or leave it. I am going to post a poll on another thread, here is the link....http://www.fordtruckfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17769...
As some of you may know, my truck was hit about 2 months ago. during it's stay at the body shop I decided to have the tailgate painted to match as it was still the original two-tone silver and blue. I can't decide whether I should paint the letters on the tailgate or leave it. Help me decide.
thanks man. My grandpa is one of "those old guys". You know the ones that have seat covers on their seats since new and washes it every week. I actually have receipts dating back to new for a trans flush once a year. even the a/c and cruise work too! The 140,000k is all travel miles, as she has...

I'm not sure I follow.....
The shop is going to use POR15 on the inside. That was their idea....thanks. I will definitely post pictures of the bed and trim. I think I will end up modifying the tool box on that side. I haul a lot of weight and don't want to weaken bed supports...
I have given that some thought. as you can see in the picture below. I believe that I can simply flip the little short piece to the otherside. the piece on the door should be fine. The only piece I believe I will have to modify is the long bedside piece. Just shorten it and make the end look...

Has anyone installed the LMC or jeffs bronco graveyard supercab reproduction rubber floor mat? Or know another place I can get a good one? How do you like the fit?
Thanks man. i do have a replacement. It just isn't very pretty and will need to be re-anodized so I am looking for something better as a back up plan. I will send the piece out and we will see how it looks. thanks again.
there is a almost perfect bed at the Lynnwood Pull-a-part for a bump. The inside bed is flawless. I wish it was for my dent. It can probably be had cheap. Just a heads up.
good point about the frames. I had just "heard/read" that they were different. is that the transmission mount in the picture? I'm glad you told me that the frames on the supercabs are different. I was going to buy a pos for mock up before cutting my truck....I'm really leaning towards ripping...
I think the frames are different widths. But I suppose it could work. I think the main problem is the engine crossmember needs to be moved/altered. I'm really leaning towards custom rather than retro fitting stock parts.I was thinking at the very least I would need custom radius frame mounts...
