    I have to weld new perches for the leaf spings on the axle I bought. I measured the distance at 40 inches. I want to be absoluteley positive that is correct. Anyone ever measure the distance before? If not, could one of you measure it and let me know?

    So, that is the same stuff used on plastic headlights. I didn't think it would be good on really old plastic. I'll give it a try and see if the edge of the cluster will whiten again.

    I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find a straight 6 240 motor. If I can't get the one I planned for then this would be my other choice.:headbang:
