  1. tail light wiring.

I'm having trouble with the brake lights on my 77 F100. For a while, they'd work when they wanted to, but now the brake lights don't work at all. The tail lights(running/park) work fine, and so do the turn signals.Bulbs are new, I'm thinking it's the socket it's self, but it's probably in the...
  2. aquired a 79

Looks like a good project Robert. Good luck.
  3. buckshot mudders

I've never heard of anything about discontinuing them. They are a decent tire, but I myself would buy them. I much rather Mud Kings. A buckshot will get about K miles on average, and they suck in the mud once they wear down half way. Like he said, kind of loud. They're reasonably priced...
  4. Post a pic of your dent

Since ya'll did say Broncos are welcome...Not long after I lifted it and put the wheels and tires.
  5. Post a pic of your dent

Interco makes the only real off road tire... hahaand you're right Tirdbirds are an abomination...
  6. 9" drain plug?

Still haven't seen a 9" with a fill or drain plug in the housing....The link you posted has this:Which is a light duty 8" from a 60's model Car.
  7. 9" drain plug?

I'd really like to see a fill plug in a 9" housing. As far as I know, they never did.I know they NEVER did on the 73-79 Trucks or 78 79 Broncos.
  8. Couple questions??

More than likely your t-case (BW I believe) will take Dexron III Mercron and to just top of the front axle, I'd get what ever you could find. Doesn't pay to put synthetic since it is leaking, and it's the front axle, so the shafts shouldn't be turning while driving (in 2wd), so again, not need...
  9. 09 F-150 wins an award

I like how the 07 Chevy 1500 won against other 1/2 ton trucks because it had the 6.0L in it. Which is far from impressive....I agree....it's a joke.
  10. Headliner trim repair

Luckily mine weren't pitted very bad and some time and scrubbing with some steel wool cleaned them up real good.
  11. Favorite mod

Lockers and gears. I like everything I did.... headers, tach, mechanical oil gauge, bed lined the interior, wheels and tires, lift, etc....
  12. 9" drain plug?

Neither one has a drain plug. There aren't any 9"s that have a drain plug in the housing, I don't care how old they are.I said there is a fill plug in the third member.
  13. 9" drain plug?

The third member has a fill plug. The housing does not. I think it's on the drivers side by the yoke. How could so many Ford guys not know this???For a drain plug, I know several people that take the bottom stud out of the axle housing and tap it for a bolt, so when you want to drain the...
  14. Best lift kit?

If I had to put money on it, you probably have 3.50 gears. There is a chance of 4.10s and I believe 3.08s, both are rare. Not many lift kits have EVERYTHING you need, so you have to buy seperate to get it all, so I bought everything seperate from www.broncograveyard.com when I got mine....For...
