replaced my 78 f100 voltage regulator

how do i know the difference between the heavy duty"industrial" 300 i6 that was put in dump trucks and everything else and the common 300 they put in half ton pickups

put 2 new tires on my 78 today 208.00 at my local wally world for 235/75/15s

finally got to drive the old 78 f100 today runs great i dont understand all this v8 noise i hear from people ill never pull a trailer with it and the heaviest thing going in my truck is me so this motor should last longer than i do.im happy with it

get a 300 6cyl they are really easy to work on ive never had one til about a month ago and ive done all the work on it myself thanks to the guys in this forum. mine cranks everytime i turn the key.but dont let the term big block fool you they just have more cubic inches than some v8s you will...

if at all possible buy the one you saw in the parking lot and use your for parts.you can usually buy one for less than you invest in one with parts and your own labor.if someone else does the work then buying a finished 1 is much cheaper.none of my rambling takes sentimental value into...

today i was told that wheels from a kia sportage will fit a ford truck 5 lug.ever heard this before or am i fishing my friends out of the shallow end of the gene pool

how do i know if i have the 300 b or k autozone website says that 1%of these trucks have the k engine i just wanna know how i can tell one from the other thanks again guys

thanks alot guys easy to maintain sounds good and im definitely not in a hurry i have no intentions of pulling heavy loads with it.its gonna be my daily driver and the less i have to turn wrenches on it the better.any ideas on how to get better gas milage out of it
