not hardly!i ran a friends 4x4 95 model rcsb 5.7 silverado against another friends 95 model ecsb 4x4 5.8 f150 and it did'nt matter how we raced the ford would kick ***!this was the last year for the chevy's before they came out with the vortech 350 so the power of those 2 was nearly identical...

well i still have'nt had my truck tuned yet(tranny knocked off).i pulled the trans and sent the converter back to pi so they could check it out.i went ahead and bought a junkyard tranny and put it in until i get another one built.i also put a stock converter back in it.well anyway a friend comes...

latest pic.well i finally got some lightning leaf springs and pulled the spring spacers out of the front.

all i know is,it's a royal pain the a-- to get the factory bushings out!i replaced mine with energy supension poly bushings.

yeah it's a dark blue.it's not a factory color on anything thing.i just made some changes to the original color.it has belltech,beams,shackles,and hangers.

if it makes you guy's feel better i have a friend that use to have an 84' f150 longbed(he bought it new)ran 7.90's in the 1/8 on motor about 12 years ago.it had a 400 with 4 bbl cleveland heads and a huge solid roller cam,never did run it at the track with the 300 shot!!!:shocked:
