So I have to admit a dirty little secret it... Until tonight, I had NEVER waxed my truck (or any of my trucks). Fact is, I didn't even know how. What to use, how to use it, when to use, where, why, blah blah blah.

So Mike (95Bronk), the king of 'wax my bronco every day' gave me a few pointers and I figured I'd have at it. Wasn't sure what to expect and when I finished with the spray on stuff (not as good as the buff-off paste type, he says) I was thinking "ehh... looks a LITTLE better than usual...

Well I just went outside and the last bit of sun was peeking over the horizon. And HOLY CRAP the thing shines like a dream. I wanted to lick it or something (gawd I'm weird). I'm now a believer in wax and on my next wash job I'll be doing it again, maybe with the paste this time :)

I already showed daddy pictures of his truck from Chris' photobucket. He thinks it's a gorgeous truck. My dad's a mechanic for Peterbuilt Trucks (Interstate International Brand). He's been a mechanic since he was 18 or 20 or something like that. He used to work for Loomis Armored when I was like 5. One of the armored trucks ran over his right calf while he was doing a quick fix on it before it went out for the run. It crushed his leg so now his right leg's like an inch and a half or so shorter than the other from the way it healed. He's fine now. He makes jokes about it. He never, EVER wears a shirt. He's got one shorter leg than the other (so he walks like he's got a permanent G walk), never wears a shirt, loves his beer, and always wears his belt with anything. That's my dad and he'll love Chris. They'll talk trucks :)

You guys should give him advice on meeting my daddy tho- I don't think he's ever really met a real redneck like my daddy before. It'll be fun. We'll take pictures :)

I wish I could be there to see Chris meet your Dad. It may be culture shock for him. :D

I'd pay money to be a mouse in the corner. They'll do fine. I was on the other end of that equation last weekend with Jenny's new b/f. Holy hell I feel old.

No chitt, learned more about the logging biz, grass seed prices, and feed prices last weekend than I'd care to repeat. Kid does have a Ford though (Ranger 4X4)- although he drove up mom's Trailblazer because it has Navigation. Guess mom didn't want him getting lost in the big city.

Chris... rig up your truck to use the bumpers off of the truck your brother got. Paint them john deer green with a yellow stripe along the center. You can swap them out when you go to her house.
