Ken,

This is the guy that gets a beatdown on this forum everytime he sells a truck. He's been selling trucks from several places in Idaho. Now he is in Boise. I see the last truck he sold received a negative feedback.

Just as a once over, he lists cruise control as one of the options, but it is not even hooked up to the carburetor, etc.

I guess since it is a supercab, it would POSSIBLY have a Dana 60 front and rear, but I would certainly want to verify that. He also no longer lists the VIN number or posts pictures of the VIN plate.

Damn am I glad you were on top of things, I was smitten at first. But yeah, that's definitely him. That ebay handle is the last one he had when I did any dealings with him. As for the D60...I know 2 guys that bought bought trucks from him that ended up with 44's up front after purchase. I was curious where the VIN and door sticker were, but I reckon those were intentional misses.



Definitely a good driver, but I hate when guys just bed line over dents and dings. I also get a little nervous when people start listing their upgrades/modifications...even if it was something I'd want, I'd need to thoroughly investigate to eliminate any possibility of a hack job.

For someone to say in their ad that this is an unmolested truck, there was A LOT of upgrades to the motor and tranny.

Still looks like a really nice rig.

I'm wondering if he just meant that the body was unmolested with no work done. Either way, that is a nice rig and if the upgrades were done right, that truck pretty much has everything you'd need. The OD and 460 along with factory A/C are a plus.

If his work on that truck is like his posting the pictures, it would be questionable.

I saw this and thought it was in the ballpark for $xxxx - was thinking $6-8k would be a fair price, but here are my thoughts and now that it's on here, was wondering what you fellas thought:

-I noticed a ton of black spray paint overspray underneath and just that fact alone scares me.......quite a bit of surface rust surrounding all that black overspray

The gas tank and cross bars look REALLY bad Is that a second tank towards the back there?

-the winch bumper is hideous and I'm not crazy about it, but I could put a nice winch in there I suppose.

-the body looks real nice and straight!

-not crazy about the wheels, but could spring for some new ones, it just lowers what I want to spend on it as wheels could set you back another grand or two depending on if you have to buy new tires which could set you back another 1500-2k!

-the radio job is a third class hack job....WTH? for a couple hundred bucks on a 6-10k rig, they could splurge on a decent install for the radio....heck I might have looked for an old original (LMC even if possible) am/fm radio!

-the 4wd shifter isn't original, right? I thought the handle was longer.

Other than that, the interior looks really nice.

-engine bay has some "OVERSPRAY".....check out the wires against the firewall....pretty wild. Looks like he rattle canned the break booster and ac box.

-bunch of spray paint on the bed against the cab - think the bed is gone....check out a rust hole (completely through) towards this part of the bed....that's scary to me for this price he's commanding
