Well ken.... It just so happens im in a particularly hostile mood. Give me maybe half an hour and i can have a dent down both sides. :)
Then i can sell it on ebay as a " supremely awesome cuztom dent side" 1of1 ever made. Amazing craftsmanship

listing price you ask?
60,000 :)

If that's in Zimbabwe dollars, then I'll buy it!

Let's see, that would be............

$160.73.

That's a good deal! smilietease

Frig...noticed last night there was a nice little brake fluid leak running down the inside of the tire on the Bronco. And my dad just called to say there's a green haze along the bottom of the windshield in the Bronco...time to do the heater core.

Does your bronco have the heater box that's located on the inside of the cab or the one under the hood. My 78 has the heater box on the inside and it wasn't too big of a job, I did it myself, and it being my 1st time putting one in.

^^^I've got an A/C unit...I've changed many a heater core, and even the A/C units take me less than 90 mins start to finish...so no biggie, I just don't want to take the time to do it.

I found a set of factory 8" wheels for $50.00...these were always one of my favorite factory steel wheels...does anyone know if they made an open center cap for a 4x4? I haven't looked, maybe the center is easy enough to pop out...these were from a 2-wheel drive so all 4 caps are solid.

I have seen those on 4X4's and it looks like the center is just left off on them. I put a set on my daughters 80 F150 and just popped the centers out.

Revive...

I've got a guy on another site I've bought and sold parts to numerous times...always great transactions. He's got a 78 mud bronco he's parting out, has 4.56's front and rear with lock right in both ends. That's basically the set up I'd use in my Bronco. The guy wants $600 for it all...I think that's a damn good price considering the lockrights are 3 bills each, gears are another 2-3 bills at each end.

So do I go for it on a used set up, or do you pass. I'll get some more pics to check condition, he claims they're good...but other than teeth chips, anything I'll be able to see via pics???

For anyone interested...I'll be going through part inventory this weekend to try and thin it out some. I don't have any real details, I don't really have a clue what all I have. Off the top of my head, I know I'll be getting rid of some racetrack trim, some body panels, doors, hoods, a tailgate or two (have a complete Bronco tailgate), emblems, knobs, handles, engine components (accessories, original part, brackets and some go fast goodies) and things of that nature. All OEM stuff in good driver condition, some painted, some primed black. I do have some NOS stuff (with duplicates) that I could part with for the right price. If you have something you want or have been looking for, lemme know and I'll put it off to the side. After this weekend, I'll post a for sale thread of items I filter out if no one lets me know what they may want.

I wish I were closer. I think the shipping cost would be through the roof! Besides, If I were closer I'd bring the beer and help you sort.

Just remember...make some time for your mother this weekend!

I'll keep that in mind...nothing big like body panels or tailgates...but some trim, HVAC items, knobs, etc.

I figured that would be the case for most, but wanted to give you guys first dibs.

Just remember...make some time for your mother this weekend!

I will...I already put her up in a hotel in Atlanta today and tomorrow to visit with some friends and family she hadn't seen for a while...so that's my present to her...and when she gets home Sunday...I'll be sure to have dinner made or something.

Wow! You're a good son! That sounds like an awesome Mother's Day for her! Nicely done!

Would one of those tail gates be for a truck and in decent shape? I read in another post Atlanta, I'm in Ellijay. Fixing up a 76 for my daughter and it doesn't have one. I'm definately interested if the price is right.

Still toying with what NOS to part with.

i am in on the racetrack trim, posted to california maybe? how much for the lot???

I'd probably be in the 150-200 range plus shipping...haven't priced a full set lately. With what I pieced together, there are a couple pices missing, like light bezel a cab corner, and the uppers for the bed aren't in the best of shape.

What body panels?

Most of the panels (doors, fenders and a hood) went to a guy on a local board. It looks like I have one warped china made rt 1/4 and an surface rusted OEM rt 1/4.

Last tailgate left is a china made pull off, bondo'd to high hell.

I had my State Farm agent put classic antique insurance on my truck and wanted to value it at over $30K, but the underwriters came back and put it at $14K, but told me I needed to get an appraisal. I had planned on getting one anyway at some point, but I was a little disappointed that they only thought my truck was worth $14K for complete replacement. Oh well. I hope the guy I'm going to get it appraised thinks differently and glad I kept my receipts.
