5.0 AOD 4.10 LSD
Purchase day, December 21, 2011. I purchased this truck for 1k dollars. At the Time it had 159,290 miles on it. Drove 100 miles to check it out.
When I got there I instantly fell in love. Well I actually fell in love with the ad on craigslist. Haha. I love Flaresides. I looked it over. Popped the hood. Checked everything. And fired her up. And couldn’t get the smile off my face due to the hacked off exhaust after the resonator. Took her for a test drive. And verified that it only had first and second gear. Was hoping it just needed a fluid change. Bought it from guy. And drove it all the way home… 100 miles… but actually drove it 160 miles.. went 30 miles out of the way cause we got lost!! But about 10 miles from home, the truck began to overheat.. I mean come on, I drove it 150 miles doing 45-55 in second gear.. Aint a big surprise.. LOL. This is where I pulled over to let it cool off, grab and bite to eat, and take a picture.
