It reminds me of my first truck, althoughsmilieFordlogo it's a 76 F-350 dually, with a flat bed, but mine was a 77 F-350 dually with a 10 foot flatbed. Which I had learned to drive on.smilieFordlogo smilieFordlogo smilieFordlogo

I call BS on this one by far... Seriously, under 1000 original miles???

Lots of indicators in the pictures that don't indicate that low of mileage. The front of the radiator is VERY clean, though. I don't think Ford installed trucks with "Super Start" batteries. Lots of wear on the PS pump dipstick, looks like the master cylinder has been replaced, and an awful lot of fading on the steering wheel, etc, etc, etc.

^ Speedometer cable was prolly unhooked for about 100K miles. Thats a lot of surface rust in the engine compartment.
Is that rust in the front bumper ? Are those the original plug wires ?
My engine and compartment looks better than that one.

Looks like a nice truck but just given that fact of what it is...F350 dually 2wd flatbed truck.....no real good reason to store it and not use it for 38 years. I could see a lot of surface rust from humidity and rodent piss if it was stored, but I also think it is BS.

Man, this guy on the "other" site dropped his "not firm" price down to $14, which is reasonable, I think....only thing is, it's not that showy and it's a standard, but it has everything else I'd want....if it were automatic AND if I didn't have my two beauts ALREADY....I'd offer him $10 cash....I remember when it was being built....pretty awesome.

The dealers over here can get a wee bit carried away with their values they put on things Ken - here's a dealer with a bronco like you had and look what he's asking for ithttp://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/ford/auction-816249606.htm . The one i brought back last year and sold went for 14k -it was nearly as tidy but had high mileage.
