    Guys, I have a 1997 F-150 w/4.7L , The manual (Haynes and Chiltons, both) say remove the hoses from the compressor before removing it. The compressor is underneath and I can't see how to get to the bolts on the lines with out dropping the compressor down. Is there a better way? Thanks, George

    Guys, I have a 1997 F-150 XLT w/4.6l and my A/C blow a leak, all of the freon leaked out over night. I recharged the system and added die, but I can't tell where the like is, I did see small amount of die around the compressor clutch. But the clutch appears to still be working. I can hear a leak...
