HAHA...351M bashing again...never ends, even if it is a joke. All I know is I can vouch for my 30 yo 351M with horrible oil pressure, leaks and tons of blow-by and smoke. In the 6 months I've driven it that way, it has traveled about 6500 miles taken trips to Coal's Creek and Upper Tellico. You just can't kill a 335 series.
i killed my 351M... Left me on the side of the road with a 2pc. camshaft. but when it does run, it leaks as bad as our ModelT.
But you can go for it...
I'm sure it will make it no problem. If you keep the stock trans, and rear axel ratio you may have to watch your speed. These trucks can run 60mph for long distances but any faster than that, and you will have to stop and let it cool down every 10mi. or so. I would stay on older highways and keep off the interstates for long periods. Maybe switch off between the two?
