Also got the engine running half way decent thanks to @Blue-Truck-Nut97 for suggesting I look at the regulator return screen. And I shoulda known better but sometimes you just overlook the obvious. Thanks Jake

Just returning the favor Doc, glad you are making positive progress. Incedently, your diagnosis on that one was pretty good, I haven't seen anybody put numbers to that problem yet. Might be worth putting it in a thread somewhere so we'll have it later. If you don't want to start one, we could put it in the sitting disease thread for that 1 ton I was messing with recently.

I'll make a thread for it soon, just wanna make sure the issue is gone. The fuel pressure only fluctuates 3-4 psi now but still has a lope to the idle, but it don't stall no more.... yet.

Thanks again

There is an exhaust manifold in there somewhere I’m getting ready to tackle and put new gaskets on[emoji2959]

Where I work noise cancelling ear muffs are issued with every vehicle in case such odd noises arise

I actually went for the VGT turbo first, it really sounded like a boost whistle. But couldn't find anything wrong with either turbo yet. The fixed turbo has a bit of play but not contacting the blower housing yet. Put it back together and started looking elsewhere and found the exhaust leak. I'm not 100% positive this is the noise but it could be and needs to be fixed anyways
